{"id":180,"date":"2022-04-26T04:23:00","date_gmt":"2022-04-25T19:23:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/coda-test.jp\/en\/?post_type=news&#038;p=180"},"modified":"2023-01-27T16:06:39","modified_gmt":"2023-01-27T07:06:39","slug":"337-2","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/coda-cj.jp\/en\/news\/180\/","title":{"rendered":"Signed a memorandum of understanding with Hong Kong Customs on intellectual property right protection and public awareness"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On April 26, CODA (Representative Director: Takero Goto) and the Customs and Excise Department of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People\u2019s Republic of China (Hong Kong Customs) (Assistant Commissioner: Mark Woo Wai-kwan) concluded a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for cooperation in mutual protection and promotion of intellectual property rights in Japan and Hong Kong, and held an online signing ceremony the same day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the conclusion of this MOU, CODA and Hong Kong Customs will cooperate in a wide range of areas, including rights enforcement, information exchange, and public awareness, for further intellectual property right protection in both countries and the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the signing ceremony, Assistant Commissioner Mark Woo Wai-kwan of Hong Kong Customs said, \u201cThe signing of this MOU demonstrates the determination of both parties to cooperate closely in protecting intellectual property rights in the future.\u201d CODA Representative Director Takero Goto said, \u201cThe cooperation between Hong Kong Customs and CODA began in 2005 and has achieved excellent results in the fight against piracy.
