On September 22, 2025, CODA visited Beijing, China, and held an exchange of views with the National Copyright Administration of China (NCAC). The meeting was attended by Mr. Tang ZhaoZhi, Deputy Director General of the NCAC, among others, while CODA was represented by Takero Goto, Representative Director, and Zhu Genquan, Chief Representative of the Beijing Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was CODA\u2019s first visit to the NCAC since May 2024. During the meeting, Takero Goto expressed gratitude for the NCAC\u2019s continued support and requested further cooperation regarding CODA\u2019s initiatives in China. CODA also reported on its recent activities and developments in collaboration with the China Copyright Association.
From the NCAC side, an introduction was given on the upcoming 10th China International Copyright Expo, scheduled to be held next month in Qingdao, where CODA will also participate. The exchange covered a wide range of topics and proved to be a meaningful dialogue toward further strengthening cooperation in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CODA will continue to build relationships and share information with the NCAC, further advancing efforts to protect the intellectual property rights of Japanese content in China. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This activity was carried out as part of a project commissioned by Japan\u2019s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
