The National Copyright Administration of China (NCAC) held the 10th China International Copyright Expo over three days from October 16, 2025, at the Qingdao International Convention Center in Qingdao City, China. CODA held a booth at the expo.
The China International Copyright Expo is a national, comprehensive copyright event held in cities throughout China since 2008, aiming to promote the development of the copyright and facilitate domestic and international copyright negotiation. It has been hosted in cities such as Beijing, Guangzhou, Suzhou, Hangzhou, and Chengdu, with Qingdao hosting the tenth edition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exposition features booths from government copyright organizations, companies, and organizations in the copyright industry across China. Aimed at copyright, it provides opportunities for networking, international negotiation, and cooperation. Furthermore, the concurrently 2025 International Copyright Forum serves as a vital platform to utilize copyright and foster international discussion of copyright matters, hosting numerous symposiums and panel discussions.
This year’s exposition, themed \u201cThe Future Guided by Digital Intelligence: Innovation and Development in Copyright,\u201d hosted numerous companies and organizations from both China and abroad. The venue was bustling with visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the CODA booth, we showcased exhibits focusing on anti-piracy measures for copyright protection and strengthening international collaboration. The booth featured a brief history of CODA’s various initiatives, displays on recent collaboration, and coordination with China. This included Chinese-language versions of the Stop Piracy! posters; posters displaying Japanese anime from CODA-member companies; an educational video, Copyright with Bun-chan, with Chinese subtitles; and reusable bags with copyright protection messages. These activities attracted the interest of many visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Japanese content has gained significant interested across the world in recent years, with popularity in China growing ever stronger. At this exhibition, many attendees showed interest in and support for Japanese content. Furthermore, it proved an extremely valuable opportunity to share opinions and information on copyright protection strategies with organizations from China and around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note that this activity was part of a project commissioned by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
