MAGP is currently focusing on the following two measures as the pillars of its project. The purpose of these measures is to create a favorable environment in which legitimate content is paid for and leads to the creation of new works by eliminating piracy from the market.
- Activities to remove piracy on the Internet
- Spreading awareness to promote viewing of legitimate versions of content.
Manga and animation will evolve further when many fans enjoy the content correctly. We hope that more people will recognize this. We will continue our activities in the hope that the demand for illegal uploads will be reduced and a healthy Internet society will be fostered by delivering the required legitimate content to fans.
The awareness-raising manga works and YouTube videos were produced with the cooperation of the Publication Publicity Center as part of a project commissioned by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry to the Content Overseas Distribution Association.
